  • Essay:
Bekah is one of my aunts. She stopped smoking five years ago. She went to a clinic that helped her know how to stop smoking. One reason is that she doesn't have to stand out in the rain to smoke. Another reason is that she doesn't have to leave class to smoke. Now she can listen to the teacher. The biggest reason that she stopped smoking was to spend more time with me when I was two. The good thing is that she is healthier, feels better, and food tastes better.

My aunt Bekah is going to school to learn how to be a nurse. Something that nurses do is make people more healthy. Since she is learning how to be a nurse she understands why smoking is bad. She is learning at school that lungs need to breath clean air. Smoking hurts people's lungs so they can't breath well. Smoking is poisonous for people's lungs because they are breathing bad air. When people smoke for a long time it causes bad things to happen to their bodies. Smoking can cause cancer in your mouth, in your throat, and in your lungs. These kinds of cancers can even be deadly. So smoking very bad for people's bodies.

My aunt Bekah is a modern day health hero and a Tabacco Tackler because she chose to stop smoking and because she is learning how to be a nurse. Bekah taught me that smoking is poisonous and makes you not think straight. When I grow up I will never smoke. I want to be a firefighter so if I smoke I will not be able to run as fast. Smoking starts a fire because if someone drops a cigarette on the floor the floor will catch on fire. When the fire alarm rings I will drive to their house, get the fire out, and teach the man that smoking causes fires.
