Pulaski Technical College Embraces Anti-smoking Ban and More - January 7th, 2011
Probably the only contest submission of its kind, one jack-o-lantern at Pulaski Technical College’s annual pumpkin carving sent the anti-smoking message in a very creative way. Counseling and Advising Administrative Assistant Rebecca Boswell and work-study student Deborah Wittig designed a jack-o-lantern that communicated the harmful effects of smoking. Though their pumpkin design was not selected as the winner, the visual display fulfilled the designers’ purpose of education and awareness.
